How to remove the steering wheel on a Ford Fiesta with the airbag? In this video, see how to proceed. Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery power connectors. Unscrew the screws/clips located at the back of the steering wheel cover with a screwdriver, then remove the airbag from the steering wheel. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power cables, remove the central steering wheel anchoring pin, and disconnect the power connectors. Finally, pull the steering wheel out of its housing. To reassemble everything, proceed in reverse order.
